Seriana Edilizia hits the track with Marzio Moretti.
For us, it’s imperative to invest in new generations, especially when they come armed with determination, commitment and dedication: key qualities both on the job and in everyday life.
Hence we have decided to sponsor Marzio, and his enormous passion and love of cars and racing.
Moretti Marzio lives in Mantua and is a 20-year old who, even as a little boy, has always been 100% committed to his passion: racing on the track.
He began his career racing go-karts, progressing from amateur level to national and international competitions: an experience that is a must for any aspiring professional racing driver needing to hone their reflexes and driving skills.
In March 2018, Marzio made his single-seat debut in an F4 vehicle and, following the end of the season, attended the Super Corso course held by the Italian racing school Scuola Federale ACI, three full-on days working alongside the FDA (Ferrari Driver Academy) staff; and, in 2020, advanced to driving a prototype sports car, racing in the Le Mans Cup.
With dogged determination, dedication and by staying on the right track to achieve his dream, Marzio has been given the opportunity to compete in the Porsche Carrera Cup Italia with the Bonaldi Team, and join the prestigious Porsche Scholarship Program organized at an international level by Porsche Motorsport to select the best racing talent to take part in their Porsche championship.
However, such an extraordinary and interesting journey is not without its sacrifices and negatives.
Nonetheless, for Marzio, racing, training and, ultimately, winning are their own “unparalleled rewards that cancel out everything else.”
Despite the racing drivers’ tough training regime, young Moretti has taught us that any obstacle can be overcome with patience and commitment and is just another hole in the rutted road that is life: it’s up to us to have a firm grip on the wheel and watch out for the twists and turns that can throw you off track.
